As we enjoy this Memorial Day weekend with family and friends, let us remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to guard our liberty. Please remember in your thoughts and prayers the family members and friends of the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces as well as those currently serving.

Memorial Day Observances
Leesburg
10 a.m. at the Loudoun County Courthouse in downtown Leesburg
Retired Major General Charles E. Williams, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will be this year's featured speaker.
Lovettsville
11:30 a.m. at the Town Square
The first series of engraved pavers as part of the Veterans Memorial will be dedicated.
Purcellville
11:45 a.m. at the Purcellville Teardrop
Sterling
11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial in Sterling Park
The ceremony is sponsored by the Breckenridge - Peters - Wood American Legion Post 150 in Sterling.
