There is a online petition against the CBPO at www.lecva.org. Click on the "Petition" button in the bar along the top of the home page.
There is a wealth of a wealth of information regarding the CBPO ('The Act") at www.lecva.org, and http://www.bigloudoun.com/ which you can use to educate yourself about the this important matter. The Act is a highly complex and expensive government program that is not needed for Loudoun. It is is not based on proper science, and does little or nothing for the Bay. What the program does do is tie up land, impose high economic costs and difficult regulatory burdens on owners, and discourages economic development in one of the worst economies in our nation's history.

Loudoun County Redistricting: 2011 Many plans - no census data, yet
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has begun the process of redistricting.
The Board of Supervisors is accepting submissions from the public of alternative redistricting scenarios/plans. The BOS staff has submitted 9 separate plans. The actual census data has not yet arrived. Loudoun has been one of the fasting growing counties for the past ten years.
The Board is scheduled to next discuss redistricting scenarios/plans at its January 19, 2011, and February 1, 2011, meetings. The Board will also take input from citizens at its March 7, 2011, public hearing.
The actual census data is expected to be available some time during the middle of February. The final plan will be dependent primarily on two key factors, the actual Decennial Census data, and the guidelines from the Voting Rights Act. The VA State House and Senate at this point is not interested in splitting precincts. This may complicate the task further.
