LCRC Announces New Executive Director

Loudoun County, Virginia - The Loudoun County Republican Committee announced last night at their January meeting that they have created an Executive Director post to coordinate Committee operations and have hired Anthony DeFazio for the position.

"We are excited to bring Anthony DeFazio onboard as the Loudoun County Republican Committee's first-ever Executive Director. In 2017, Loudoun is a must-win county for the Republican Party. The road to taking back Virginia began last night with the hire of our new Executive Director." said Will Estrada, Chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee. "Together as a committee, we are laying the groundwork for the kind of political operation necessary to ensure that our Republican nominees achieve victory on Election Day."

Previously serving on their communications team as a paid staffer, DeFazio brings with him experience not only from the Loudoun County Republican Committee but also an internship at the Home School Legal Defense Association, serving as President of American Individualists from January 2016 to January 2017, and holding other roles on Republican campaigns in Virginia.

"The Republican Party in Virginia is fortunate to have a number of candidates in our state-wide and Delegate races that will put the interests of important localities like Loudoun County ahead of politics. Putting Anthony in place as the Loudoun GOP Executive Director underscores the commitment the Party has to electoral success in Loudoun in 2017." said John Whitbeck, Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia.

The Loudoun County Republican Committee is committed to helping Republican candidates lead the fight in the battleground of Northern Virginia this fall. For more information, please visit
