Absentee voting for the June 11, 2019 primary elections starts statewide Friday, April 26. Qualified Virginia voters may vote absentee in-person at their local voter registration office or vote absentee by mail. Patrick Henry College (PHC) won its twelfth national championship at the American Moot Court Association (AMCA) national tournament in Orlando, Florida last weekend. In addition to winning first place, PHC finished with three teams among the top eight in the nation. PHC speakers also won five of the top 20 speaker awards.

House Majority Leader Todd Gilbert (R-Shenandoah) said Tuesday that Attorney General Mark Herring promised voters just five short years ago that he would not be a part-time Attorney General and would resign should he decide to seek higher office. Last week, Herring announced his plans to run for Governor in 2021. If Herring is serious about his announced plan to run for Governor, he must immediately make good on his pledge to resign his office.

Several incidents over the 4th of July weekend reminded us of the unfortunate state of the Democrat party. Democrats hired 49-year old activist, Wilfred Michael Stark, to stalk and harass the Congresswoman and constituents. Stark forced himself into the parade, pushed her supporters aside, and hovered mere inches from the Congresswoman's face.

Endorsed Candidates Win May 1, 2018 Elections
The LCRC endorsed two candidates in local races: Joel Grewe and Michael Dunlap. Joel Grewe, town councilman elect in Purcellville, Virginia, ran on a platform of bringing transparency and fiscal responsibility to town government. Grewe was elected with 941 votes, close to "Tip" Stinnette's 946 votes. Michael Dunlap ran in a special election for Lovettsville town council and won election with 498 votes.

VA District 10 Straw Poll Results From Record Attendance At LCRC Spring Jamboree
The Loudoun County Republican Committee is pleased to announce record-breaking attendance at its annual Spring Jamboree. The event was packed to the brim, despite grim forecasts of 6-8 inches of snow earlier in the week. Almost 400 attendees came to Purcellville's Historic Bush Tabernacle to enjoy live music, a silent auction, and traditional BBQ.
