Loudoun Republicans Highlight Freedom in Leesburg Independence Day Parade

The Loudoun County Republicans put forth a strong showing in the Leesburg Independence Day Parade. Led by a float that was topped with Lady Liberty and flanked with American flags, our theme of "Land of the Free" was emblazoned across the side, highlighting what we love about this great land of ours. Strong support for Congressman Frank Wolf was also apparent with many in our crowd wearing the familiar "Wolf Pack" shirts. Commissioner of the Revenue Bob Wertz was out in front helping lead the procession. Delegate Tag Greason (32nd VA House District) was also present with a large following.
The Loudoun Republican Women's Club provided 500 pocket size
copies of the U.S. Constitution that were distributed to adults and
children along the parade route. The response was fantastic and we
could have handed out thousands more. Crowds enthusiastically
cheered our procession as we moved through Leesburg, demonstrating
that our message of preserving America's freedom by promoting
smaller, smarter government resonated with voters. It was a great
day to celebrate our country's birthday and many thanks to all that
came out and showed their support!
