THE BETSY ROSS PROJECT
Since the birth of independence, when Betsy Ross sewed the first flag, the Stars and Strips have embodied the patriotism and pride of Americans in our country.
Please join the Loudoun County Republican Women’s Club in promoting the display of the flag in:
Places of business Public buildings Churches Community centers Libraries Parks Any place where public meetings are held
Here’s what you can do:
Identify locations that would logically be receptive to displaying the American Flag.
Donate funds or flags.
Solicit donations from private or public organizations, businesses or individuals to help fund the project.
Do you have a memorial flag from a loved ones military funeral service? Consider donating the flag for inside display with proper recognition and appreciation. Participate in Flag Presentation Ceremonies on Flag Day, Saturday June 14.
Purchase a flag for your home or car.
